Join the team at the City2Sea

The Sunday Age City2Sea presented by Westpac is the final event of the new Run Out Loud Fitness & Music Series. The Event sees thousands of Melbournians leave their headphones at home and pound the pavement from the CBD to St Kilda with live music and entertainment provided every step of the way.

In 2015, the 5km & 15km courses were packed with an epic line up of entertainment including Hot Dub Time Machine, Goodwill & Duncan, Stereosonic’s DJ Andy Murphy, big bands, cheerleaders, dancers and much more.

The City2Sea is a great opportunity for the community to band together and tackle the scenic courses around our beautiful city, as well as raise awareness and funds for charity.

The event aims to raise more than $500,000 for over 650 charities including beyondblue, Movember Foundation, Cancer Council Victoria and the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service.

Want to be a part of the action, have a great time and do something rewarding?  We want YOU to join our team!

To volunteer as part of a group, you must be part of an existing community group or organisation and all volunteers must be at least 8 years old. Groups that often volunteer for our events include Rotary clubs, Scout groups, Running clubs and many more. The only requirement is that the group are able to provide us with your certificate of currency.

What does my club get out of it?

As a thank you, the Event will make a donation back to your club for each volunteer role filled on the day.

What kind of roles will volunteers be doing?

You will have the opportunity to select the area which you would like to be involved in at the event during the registration process!  (We do our best to allocate volunteers to their preferred role, but very occasionally, due to operational reasons, we may need to allocate you a different position).

No roles are too laborious, but just require people willing to help out, work as a team, and have a good time!
